Our Staff

	Kristine J. Wood I am the office manager, with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. My job is to make sure that everything in the office is running smoothly. I am a fourth-generation Southern Californian and would not want to live anywhere else. The beautiful weather allows me to participate in all kinds of outdoor activities. I enjoy tennis, water-skiing, and running. I am currently training to run a marathon. I especially enjoy scuba diving with my husband, Dr. Wood, and spending time with our many children and grandchildren.
	Debbie Schwabl I am the Insurance Coordinator with Cypress Family Dental, and am here to help with all your insurance questions. I was born in England and immigrated to the U.S. when I was four. We originally settled in Utah. I moved to California in 1987 and now consider this my home. The beautiful weather is a nice change from the cold and snow! I have one grown daughter. In my spare time I enjoy making chocolate favors and rubber stamping.
	Andrea Ponder I am a Registered Dental Assistant, and have been with Cypress Family Dental for three years. I enjoy cooking, sports, spending time with my friends and family and I love going to Angels baseball games with my son. I recently had the opportunity to go to Mexico with Dr. Wood and volunteer at a dental clinic. While in Mexico, I also got to go whale watching. It was an amazing experience.
	Joanne Juliano I am the Insurance Specialist here at Cypress Family Dental. My job is to make sure you are receiving all of your dental insurance benefits. In my spare time, I love to read, and enjoy learning new things. I am currently learning to play classical guitar. I also have a nine-year-old daughter whom I love spending time with. I look forward to meeting you!
	Melissa Darby I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, and have been with Dr. Wood for seven years. I am the person who cleans your teeth. I am a graduate of Cerritos College, and started working for Dr. wood on September 11th. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughters, going to the movies, and vacationing at the beach.
	Jeannie Penserini I am the Schedule Coordinator for Cypress Family Dental, and am here to assist with all your appointments. I have been with Cypress Family Dental for over two years. I have two teenage daughters. In my spare time I enjoy reading and traveling, as well as handicrafts like knitting and crocheting. I look forward to meeting you and scheduling your upcoming appointment!
